Default 300 blackout?

Thinking about changing one of my 223 rockrivers into a 300 blackout everything I've read sounds like a good round

I don't know a whole lot about it. I know the only thing that has to be changed on a standard AR is the barrel. Ballistics are very similar to x39. Ammo is still in short supply and isn't cheap, but it seems that cheap ammo is just around the corner. Another member here has a rifle chambered in it, I'm sure he'll be by later to give you his experiences with it.

I like my .300BLK. Heavier round and I was able to use parts out of my AR spare parts box. All I had to do was order a barrel.

So far out to 100 it has been nice. Recoil is soft and smooth.

There seems to be a large backing for this round and a lot of round development is taking place. There are some real nice hunting rounds and talk of cheap steel case rounds.
