Colt M1917 .45 caliber US Army Double Action Revolver circa WWI. It's a "six shooter" and my Grandfather on my Father's side carried this in WWI.
It has been in my family for 3 generations ,counting me. It is now mine.
And yes..... it is in still fireable condition. And it fires 45 ACP ammo with the half moon clips holding 3 cartridges each.
This is one I'll own until they pry it from my cold dead hands.
