I really wish I had something to contribute. My father wasn't much of a picture taker. I am, so I am not I most of my children's pictures.

Here is a little about my WWII hero.
My Dad!
It was something one of my dads brothers wrote several years ago. I found it on the web. In the picture of my dad and his brothers he is the one on the left, and his brother, the one that wrote about my dads history is next to him, Uncle Jerry (Gerald Cothran).
http://tarawaontheweb.org/cothran.htm

I found a good early picture of my dad in my picture album and scanned it. It is a Picture of dad and me taken approximately in 1955 when I was 4 sitting on a stump at Yosimite National park. We all went there a lot.

Your dad was just one of many reasons his generation is called the Greatest Generation. Semper Fi George Cothran, and thank you to you, your brothers, and all who serve. The world is a better place for their sacrifice.

Thank you for sharing this Airborne 1.
