Default Yugo AK

I'm planning on getting an AK as soon as I can find one that I like (translate that to mean price I like). I'm thinking towards a Yugo M70 with the DCI receiver. I prefer the looks of the traditional wood stock, but an underfolder would be handy. How's the "feel" of the metal stock underfolder when firing? It looks like it would become uncomfortable pretty quick.

Cheek weld is difficult with the underfolder. But it is more versatile.

Hello, like anything else you get used to it. I have had underfolding, sidefolding and fixed stock kalashnikovs and personally I prefer the underfolder but thats just me.I second that AIM Surplus has the best deal around for a underfolding Yugo M70 right now...... good folks to deal with.

I put a rubber recoil pad on my Yugo UF, and it helps a lot. Check it out.

I picked up these 2 a couple of months ago from J&G Sales up in Prescott, Arizona. They're a nice, well made weapon. I was surprised at how rigid the underfolder stock is. They are a really nice, handy weapon. Bill T.
