I love my country.

I greatly respect my AK.

It's a lot of fun, and does what it's made for.

But I truly prefer my SKS.

Either you understand, or you don't.

I have an AK and an AR. The AR is more accurate at distance but I find the AK much more fun to shoot.

I'll come out and say it. Most of America's foreign policy either does not work, or is decidedly shameful in one way or another.

The America of today is really not an america to be proud of. But it is worth trying to improve it...

In Africa you can have chocolate covered insects and candied insects. In Texas you can have rattlesnake, in Japan you can have Fugu or pufferfish (if not cooked properly can KILL you). Every country has its weird but great delicacies and it's people are proud.

The Russian government is trying to get cattle ranches started over there. Apparently the steppes north of the black sea and west of the Urals looks just like Montana. Waist high grass as far as the eye can see. There was a big article about it in Western Horseman. Apparently beef over there is what we'd call shoe leather. They shipped 2000 head from Montana to Russia. Some on 747 out of Chicago and most on a cargo ship out of Maryland. Pretty wild huh?

It's all relative. Despite our shortcomings I will still back my team. My country is better than the rest but not perfect by any means. I was born here. I will back this country like I back my family.

Don't misconstrue my post.

I am a loyal patriot, and I believe in America.

I volunteered to join the armed forces, and if

my country called, even at my age, I'd do it again.

I'm just not a fan of hypocritical foreign policy.

If our state department did what they do overseas

here, at home, they would have a hard time explaining to an

enraged American public how it is not terrorism.

Then they gild the lily, and frost the cake, by making it

seem
as though other countries are just unfair

bullies, and wackos.

Take the mideast, as an example. For over 600 years, they've

been victim to different invasions of their countries,

been ripped off, and cheated out of their

resources, and meddling in their affairs of state. And any

response in kind on our soil is immediately labeled

terrorism. The media feeds and aids this state-led parade of

ridicule and misinformation.

Well, perhaps if we were to leave them alone, we might

not have these domestic issues. But where are we, right now,

as I post? The Mideast. With armies... ...of course, once

again, they are the bad guys.
