Thats one kicker of a round! I had not shot a 12Ga since my early 30's, so I was glad the Catamount's gas system was good. It didn't break my shoulder off. I decided on the Catamount after shooting the 12Ga Vepr as a rental, which was also easy on both the 'eyes" and shoulder/back. My Bad disks and back are so sensitive to the pain, I stopped shooting my 45ACP's with regular loads, infact,..I rarely shoot them at all anymore, same with my 30Cal. rifles,..I can only shoot them from a bench rest these days...
