I own a Romanian WASR - Manufactured by CN Romarm SA/OUGIR in Romania SAR2

It uses 5.45x39 Ammo

Here's a picture:

I enjoy it.

Good luck in finding yours.

Yeah that's what I'm looking for. I've even called several places and can't seem to find one. I like the blond look too. What is it finished with? It doesn't look like plain Romanian parkerizing.

Yep, it's plain Romanian parkerizing.

Fun to shoot.

Huh... Looks glossier than the coat on my WASR 10. Is it a Century Arms build? I'm going to put a DuraCoat finish on maybe tomorrow. Sweeten it up a bit.

I think it must be the way the lights are playing off the AR - it's not even very oily

For that price I'd just get a Lancaster. A base line Romo either WASR 10, 2 or SAR 1 shouldn't be going for over $500 new. I see Romo's everywhere lately, just not in the 5.45 for some reason?

I was lucky - It came on the AK.

I looked for several months for a AK at a good price with the different things I wanted on it.

I learned a lot here AK47.Net

and here: AK-47 information, bayonets, ammo and magazines

and here: Ak-47, Ak-47 Parts Kits, Gun Accessories offers the world's largest selection of knives, guns, and firearm brands for sale.

I'm sure there are more and maybe even better websites, but theses helped me.

Good luck on your search.
