Okay. I'll bite. I have a small fortune and I simply must have the top of the line, most accurate, highest tolerance, best built AK on the planet.

I am buying, what, exactly??

And no, I don't want Saddam's gold or silver plated ones.

Who makes the best damn AK on the market??

It is You're (or, you are) welcome. But I must have missed your post recommending the AK that you have deemed to be the best based on your personal experience.

They function really well. The one I have is a Romanian 75 rounder. I bought it over a year ago. The newer Romanian ones are designed a little bit differently. They are wind-up and the back opens up. They might be even better.

Well, I'll bite...........JD go back up the topic, and you'll get my recommendation.

I really like my US made Arsenal under-folder AK with the milled reciver. But others will have different opinions.

I even had already posted a photo for RyanG23, for when he asked.

Did you want traditional style or what? IMHO, the best AK (any style) that I have shot/owned/etc. is the VEPR by Robinson Armament.

But for traditional style that has been upgraded - anything by Mark Krebs.

Just my .02

Krebs huh? $2200 for an AK does seem like it would be the high end edition. Damn. That is a lot of coin for an op rod driven platform.

Thanks Guys!!

What kind of ak would I recommend? It would be a Arsenal SLR-106 which is 5.56 mm (.223)
Can you post an actual pic of yours for all of us to see?

my profile has an album of my guns. an Ak is not one of them.
Then I'll ask the obvious question. How can you recommend a gun that you do not own and shoot?

I'm not trying to start any argument, no need. I'm just making sure that folks know you post in threads, make recommendations, and have basically no first-hand experience.

If you spent time reading and learning and less time posting - you might actually gain some of the knowledge you're trying so hard to demonstrate...
