The Cugir plant produced/produces lots of AK including the WASR today.

You might want to look at this comprehensive link:

That thar looks like a post ban Wasr-10.

As of two years ago, I could get one for $375. Here lately, I see them for about $500 and climbing.

Check the serial numbers

The wear and tear on it makes me want to say 1965 area.

Another user had a 1965 romanian just like that.

He may be able to testify to that fact.

Or searching for the serials online might yield more info.

However the inside of the firing chamber isn't silver in color which may indicate a newer age than the 1965.

I know the one I saw on here had a silver color on the firing chamber.

If it turns out to be what I think probably about $500-$600. Street price probably less. Otherwise not sure on price.

In fact here's the link to his 1965 Romanian.

Everything about your gun looks identical.

Except for the firing chamber color being black instead of silver.

http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f19/new-ak-66747/

I guess he says he paid $829 for it.

If it is the same.

The more I look at both pictures the more I'm thinking it's the same. The color could be camera angle.

Ahh damn, I just noticed the pistol grips are different. So I dunno... if your's was rebuilt or not or his was I dunno.
