Shot a friend's Saiga 12. It was solid, felt well-balanced- would not feel under-gunned with it.
$300 is a very fair price for the WASR. Availability of AK style weapons will/could be scarce so that is a plus on the value side. Ammo to feed it doesn't have to be fancy and is "relatively" lower-priced than some other calibers - right now (still though" both pluses. The original magazine is 30 or 20 rds? How many come with the rifle? 7.62x39 could maybe be less or maybe not imported?
The price on the Saiga seems fair also - that is plus. 410 is domestically made- plus. That platform choice for the gauge isn't one I a familiar with as I have only used the Saiga 12. The 410 Seems like it would be a hoot to take to the range or do some brush running with it.
So... Which one, and if you didn't ever have the option of owning again, balances the scales to one side or the other?
I wish this my problem lol.
Do tell when you decide?
