I have an arsenal slr-107f and I love it! Honestly if you want a top quality AK it's going to cost more but well with it in my opinion. Here's mine, just painted it imageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1400027775.846380.jpg

Default Took the leap on an Arsenal

Looks good. I have not taken the "Leap" yet on the Rifle side, but last summer I scored an AK Pattern 12 Ga.( Catamount Fury II). Got a very nice package for $632 OTD from J&G. At the time they were listing at $699, but they were about to drop the price anyway, and I got 400 rds. of Ammo as well as another purchase, because I'm local to them. Came with 2-5 rd. Mags. And I bought 2 more 5's and 3-10rd. ones. Only real issue is no drum mags. That has gotten my interest in a rifle Caliber AK...but I'd briefer a longer Barrel and in NATO chambering.

Edit:Prefer...

Is that a folding stock model? An ak is next on my list after my SBR builds.

All SLR100 series rifles have a folding stock iirc. I know all of the 104s, 106s,and 107s do.

Honestly I wanted a fixed NATO stock, the Warsaw length stocks are short but you get used to them after a little while. I'm 6'2" or so and after some 'training' I don't mind it.

Any one out there have a Krebs AK.I traded one of my Russian SKS's for a Krebs back in 03. Best one I've ever owned. I also had a Maadi that I sold several years ago. The Krebs is a keeper....just don't hear much about em. Here's a pic. Regards. Dick.

From what I here, Krebs makes some damn good AK packages! I think he is starting to sell to gun shops on a regular basis now. Looking good!
