Default Took the leap on an Arsenal

Just ordered an SLR107FR, I've been debating on one for a long time. Not cheap but top notch quality.
As close as you can get to a Russian issue AK-103
Some pics.

Varies depending on the seller, I got mine for $925 plus tax, which is about right. I've seen them for more, but just under $1000 is normal

You won't be disappointed.

The Arsenal AK's do what AK's were designed to do.

The Bulgarian mags, in my opinion, are too expensive. The surplus steel works just fine and there's only a 2 or 3 ounce difference between the two.

Enjoy your new toy

I also bought an arsenal this year. Best AK47 I ever shot.

I'd like to get a few of the Bulgarian circle 10 mags 'just in case', seeing as it's a Bulgarian build it seems fitting anyway. The vast majority will be surplus steel mags.

Seeing as they are relatively inexpensive I see myself buying quite a few.

Guys, help me understand, and not looking for an argument. But why would anyone want anything stamped when you can get this? It's so much stronger and and built to higher tolerances. Thick milled receivers will withstand so much more abuse, and will shoot so much tighter.

Several reasons. While I like milled AKs, a stamped receiver is about 2.5 pounds lighter. If I wanted a target AK milled would be great, for a general shooter it's overkill.

Also, I plan on no abuse of my rifle, I will treat it with care. Torture tests of the extreme always irritated me. "I can throw my rifle off a 5 story building and it still works, can yours do that?"

I don't know, I'm not dumb enough to throw my rifle off of a high rise or run it over with a truck. What real world situation could either possibly replicate?

Not trying to sound prickish, just rambling a little.

No, I get it. And yes the stamped is lighter. I'm not looking to field fight with mine, so I'm good. Also not planning on a roof throw, so we're both good

I like your AK, so please don't get me wrong.

My Arsenal has a milled receiver. It is an actual AK47.
