Default Tapco gastube for sks.

I got my tapco gastube I'n and my yugo gas piston nor my tapco gas piston will fit. I looked down the center of the tube and there's a small ridge I'n there they must have not got it smooth when boring it. I'm wording if i should send it back and be without for 2 or 3 weeks or just take a small file and knock it out so my piston fits. Will filing it make the gun not shoot right?

Call me picky, but i would return it for a new one and let Tapco worry about filing it down. If you do smooth it yourself, make it good; i would hate to end up with the piston stuck.
