Default Solutions for Trigger Slap?

I own a Century Arms AK variant that's a good gun, reliable, and compact. It personifies all of the qualities for a last ditch SHTF rifle and is a lot of fun for informal shooting at the rock quarries however...

Shooting from the bench is painful. Placing well aimed shots will numb the pad of the trigger finger in less than 10 rounds...

I've heard of "replacement" triggers that are available to eliminate the slap and hear talk about single hook vs double hook units...

I'm looking for recommendations for guys who've had the same problem AND solved it.

Manufacturer, model, and any tricks to installation would be appreciated.

Tack

Tapco g2 trigger if it doesn't have it already. Most century wasr's come with them. But aside from most of the cheap stuff Tapco puts out the g2 FCG is actually great

This is the single hook solution. I think the double hook solution makes reloading too tedious.

You must have an early WASR with a Century hack-job FCG. I have 3 WASRs with original Romy FCGs - all 3 are just fine.

Century made an attempt to cheap out and craft a 922 FCG and did a horrible job. So many warranty complaints they spent the coin and had Tapco G2 FCGs used instead. These are excellent FCGs. So you either have the Century hack or a bad Tapco. Swap yours for a Tapco single-hook G2 and you should be fine.
