Mosin Nagant rifle/carbine. I am not up on the Mosin models, but someone will chime in. Not an SKS. Should be chambered in 7.62 X 54r.

M-N M44 carbine. As the man said, not an SKS.

SKS- Simenov karbine Semiauto- caliber 7.62x39
M44- short barreled version of the Moisin-Nagant bolt action, caliber 7.62x54 rimmed.

Thank you to both RoBo Cop 10mm and C3 Shooter for the info and site address. Will follow up on it. Glad I didn't try a round of 7.62x39 in it first.
