The original wood stock x 1000. Scroll down and read the multiple threads on all the problems with the others.
I put a Tapco on mine and am about to go back to original furniture. The 20 rd magazine sucks and wont eject shells half the time and the stock itself can be a pain as you have to do some modifications.
Save your money towards an AR or inexpensive AK if you want to tac it out. Prices are steadily going down. An SKS isnt made for that and is fun just the way it is.

I just dont like the short wooden stocks on an sks tapco makes a timbersmith wooden stock that is a little longer for the american shooter and has beautiful wood! You can also keep the 10 round fixed magazine.

Cant get much tactical with an sks it wasnt designed to use magazines the most tactical thing you can do to it is just leave it like it is an maybe buy a new stock and leave the magazine alone.

It would appear that those don't allow for the use of the bayonet, as the OP was requesting. Otherwise they look nice.

Hi there,

Check this stock out from Tapco. I have had lots of customers that love this stock and it fits perfectly with the blade bayonet cut. It is available in Black, Dark Earth, and Olive Drab Green. I am also running a special on this item right now normally it sells for $85.95 and is currently going for $78.95. If you have any other questions about this item please let me know and I would be more than happy to answer them.

My SKS is currently in Tapco stock like that one ^^^, except I have the Norinco with the tent stake bayonet rather than the blade style bayonet. I have had great luck with mine and the matching magazines. I have read a lot of complaints about the tapco magazines not feeding well, but I think this may be when the tapco mags are used with non-tapco stocks, not sure.

I also have a montecarlo style stock for my SKS that was made by Ramline, I was told. I will probably move the SKS back to the montecarlo style eventually, as it seems better at being a rifle than at being a carbine.
