Default SKS or Ruger SR9?

Have an opportunity to trade a watch for either an SKS or an SR9. I just bought a 9mm so I'm leaning towards the SKS. I just don't know anything about SKS's other than a brief bit of early history and current manufacturing locations. I don't know anyone that owns one at all.

Here's what they look like..

The Ruger would be worth more than the SKS most likely

Both guns are in the $400 range. If that's the SKS you might be trading for it's very tricked out. The Ruger is a fine handgun. But if you already have s similar 9mm I'd go for the SKS.

Hey, nobody will complain about a 1911. You probably did good. What brand is it?

My step father had a Llama in 380. He sold it more than 20 years ago. It was in mnt condition. It was nickel plated. He got $400 for it from a dealer. I remember because he made such a big deal about it.

What caliber is yours?
