Default SKS Prices

Iam looking at purchasing an Norinco SKS with an 30 rd mag and folding stock... With the price of guns at the moment is $475 too high? I was looking at purchasing an SKS or Ak since I don't have neither.... It seems high to me but I have the bug to add another gun to the collection!

It was me I'd wait a little longer. Prices will drop some yet. They probably wont get get to before maddens levels but they should go down a little more.

I wouldn't pay that for an SKS that got the Tapco treatment.

I would definitely wait a little longer for any assault rifle purchase. I went to shoot at the local indoor range today and their shelf was full of top quality AR's that were priced well over 1200 two weeks ago selling for 900 or under today. I saw some RRA ARs for around 900. Prices are crashing quickly. Companies went into production overdrive and are finding themselves with a surplus.

Also if you are looking for an assault rifle, spend the extra money and buy an assault rifle. By the time you buy an SKS and tac it out you will have almost spent as much money anyway.

Check Allan's armory. He has M59/66 Yugo snipers and regular models, he also has Chinese Type 56s in replacement stocks. He's really helpful and informative, I got my M59/66 from him and I'm very happy. $325 is what I payed before shipping and everything. He test fires and safety checks all of them before selling them. He ships them in a hard Flambeu case.
