Default Sks overpriced or not?

Ok so I have not been able o find an sks for what I thought they ran for. They all cost the same as some of the lower range ak's. Why is that? I would not necessarily call them equal guns. The ak has magazines, which to me is a huge bonus.and there are many differences so why the price similarity?

Also on another note does anyone know of any good semi autos I could get for under or about under 400.

They are very similar to an ak and most have been made to use detachable mags.
You should be able to find an sks in the $400 price range.

Oh sorry. Local gun store.
There are many online auction sites where they are available but you have to be sure to check the small print for extra fees. Here's one site. They have a few for under $300. Personally I'm very happy with my yugo.

Check pawn shops. A local one here had three SKS's for $179.99 each.

I've not been out for awhile but the pawn shops are full of them. Most of your common ones will go for $200.00,
