A good Russian SKS with a nice stock is sort of like a fine wine.

Well balanced, reliable, and beautifully milled. For that money,

verify matching serial #s.

You could horse it up with external mags, but I've never had a

FTF/FTE with my standard 10-round internal mag, which makes

me very reluctant to screw with success.

If you look around a little, you can also find a rubber

stock extender to increase LOP. It reduces felt recoil

nicely.

I'm gonna look around a little more see what's out there. I really like the look and feel of the older ones. I'm new to ftf and you guys have been a lot of help. Thanks

The MD mag restriction is for a REMOVEABLE mag. The standard SKS mag is a fixed magazine.
