As SKS rifles go, the Chinese guns with the milled receivers are the ones I like best. I like the fact that they have chromed bores. The wood is not as nice as the Russians but other than that they seem to hold their own.
I don't like all the extra junk up front on the Yugoslav version. I have seen the gas cutoff move under fire and cut gass off in the middle if shooting which is irritating.
I have seen a few Albanian SKS rifles that were either really nice or just about worn out. These seem fairly rare though.
