sks
anybody ever see a sks completely chromed or nickel plated .....Aftermarket 30 rd mags and all ? Yalls thoughts ..would be cool with a new tapco adjustable stock .

Ehh.
I'm more of an OEM type, but I do like charcoal synthetic
stocks.
Chrome is too flashy for me...

I think the chromed Draco/ak pistol & the chromed MD57 pistol look nice; i have been tempted to buy one of each.

It's very well known that the SKS was widely distributed by the Soviet bloc,
and is still very popular. IMO, you should see if a Chromed-out
version is for sale, or get the cheapest SKS you can find. Since
you're going to totally refurbish it, it wouldn't make sense to find one
with a decent wood stock and high-grade finish on the metal.
In any event, stocks aren't hard to find.

Didn't some special North Korean unit use chromed out SKS's for dress occasions/parades?
