Scope for my WASR/10?

1 Attachment(s)
I am seeking the knowledge of the wise that are here on this site. If that fails, would someone please respond anyway? :D

Anyway, I am looking for a scope to mount on my WASR/10. As you can see on the picture I already have one, unfortunately it cannot withstand the recoil of the rifle. I need one that can. Looking for a recommendation.

Thanks in advance!!

What do you plan to shoot with your scoped AK? It makes a difference.

Anything that walks out to 400 yards and the occasional paper target. :D

I had same problem due to wrong rail (picatinny). I hastily replaced my scope with a Kalinka Red Dot instead. I should have instead corrected the problem replacing it with a weaver rail. But one learns as one goes on. :o

What type of failure have you experienced with the current scope? What brand and power range is the scope that failed?

The combination of rifle, ammo and mount may make it a challenge for any optic to get good precision out to 400 yds. Theount that you have is really pretty high above the bore and looks like it would be tough for getting a good repeatable cheek weld.

The problem stems from the reticle moves off target after a few dozen rounds. I use the scope when I have the bipods down and I support my face with the back of my hand. It is the same technique that I use when I shoot my PSL-54C and I am spot on with every shot with it.

I cannot remember the actual brand at the moment, but my conclusion is that it is designed for a 9mm type CQB weapon.
