Default Saiga ak sights
Hey guy so I wanted to know wether I should try to get a optic on my saiga converted ak. I was thinking about getting a red dot on it and wanted to hear opinions about red dots on ak's and iron sights

I have no personal experience on converted one. But here is my Saiga with Bushnell red dot, mounted on UTG side rail mount.

I had a red dot on my 7.62 and a scope on the 5.45 for awhile. Now both just sit there cause I prefer irons on an AK. (The way its supposed to be) Lol.

My eyes are getting older making it harder for me to see the iron sights now so I have a red dot on my Saiga. Love it.
