Default Saiga to AK

I havent posted anything for a while. I wanted to show you all what I did to my saiga rifle for basically peanuts. Rifle 420, pistol grip 13, FCG, retainer, PG nut and screw 49, reused T6 stock 55. 537 dollars, not including mags or tools. Anyways the total will just keep going up with my future parts. The saiga conversion is affordable as long as you do it in steps. Im not as fortunate as some to be able to buy an arsenal thats all decked out for 700-800. But its a great rifle, hasnt malfunctioned in almost 1000rds. Im beyond happy and the conversion was well worth it. When im done with the mag conversion, 3 steel mags and muzzlebrake it shoudnt be much over 650. And I will have a very well build, accurate rifle. Hail Izmash.

Im doing it in sections. You can buy something once a month and make good progress. Theres way more that can be done to it, but it will take a while.

Your stock saiga is a great rifle too. Just as dependable and accurate. But once I got one I wanted to see what was on the other side. It didnt cost that much more. And the conversion isnt that hard, just have to study.

You could always check out Ironwood designs and get you some furniture for that bad boy. . .?

Default I like black

The ironwood laminated stocks are really nice. Im probably going to forgo the lower retainer and different sight block for the ak furniture and cleaning rod. Im eventually going to get an SGM tri rail handguard and a gas tube with a venter cover. Im working on my mag conversion now and am slowly getting to my idea of full conversion. After that maybe a k-var nato stock and who knows what else. Im addicted to all the things I can do to this rifle, 30-75 dollars at a time. SAIGA RULES
