WASRs/M10s/Dracos are made in the same Romainian arsenals as military guns. They use chrome-lined CHF barrels, and in the 60's Soviet way - are made good enough for gov't use in suppressing peoples and fermenting revolt/terror.
The Draco aside, they come into the USA as sporty rifles - and Cent or M&M pay to have them 922'd and hi-capped as desired. The "conversion" to the full evil AK look has been done, or in the case of "low-cap" WASRs - is a piece of cake. Dracos are h-cap pistols and so are exempt from 922.
SAIGAs are made in the same Russian arsenals as military guns. They use chrome-lined CHF barrels, and in the modern Russian way - are made good enough for commercial sales..
They arrive in sporty config, and someone must do the conversion work to move the triggers, 922 parts, add the PGrips, change the furniture, mod the mag-catch, add the bullet-guide.
Their conversion from the sporty AK-based rifle to the full evil AK look is obviously more involved than a WASR, and is on you - or some vendor like Red Jacket or Arsenal who in turn sell the converted SAIGAs at a premium.
Your choice; cheap but functional 60's Soviet or potentially more expensive commercial Russian conversion.
