The only mags you can run in a saiga without a full 922r conversion is us made ones which need no bullet guide if you want to use foreign mags you have to be 922r or it is a illegal gun.
Yeah promag and another company has what you need. I think I heard the promags are junk though.

So I will not need a bullet guide installed to use the Pro Mags??? I would only need to install it to use the real metal AK mags right???

Also I am going to install the Tapco buttstock that does not require moving the FCG forward. Does anyone have one of the Tapco buttstock with pistol grip installed on their Saiga??? As I mentioned earlier in this thread I am not confident enough nor do I want to move the FCG forward as it seems to be more of a pain in the ass than anything...

It really is not that hard... and With the tapco it looks half &*_(( you know what i mean. I have done 7 full conversions my guns and friends. When I do a friends I usually just tell them what to do. Do one with a kit from CONVERSION KITS:SAIGA 223, 5.45, 7.62, 308
and a built guided. There are youtube and websites dedicated to the conversions of these guns. If you were to go tapco you will ask yourself why down the line. everything is better with the full conversion better look, trigger pull, reliability. You need conman handles and a drill and you can make it your own on how crazy you want to go with it. the pro mag lips will break off in time trust me on that.

Well for now I'll keep the promags and the original stock and wait to save up and possibly attempt the conversion, cuz it seems to me like that's the only way to go from all the research I've done on these rifles. Till then I'll keep the sporter look with the cheap 30 round mags took I can afford to do the conversion ..
