Default Russian Military Upgrades to AK12

Might have to purchase one of these when they are available to the civilian populace.

Looks interesting. I saw something about the AK-12 last year but honestly kind of shrugged it off since it is hardly the first time I'd heard of the Russian military about to switch rifles. However, this looks a lot more feasible than some others. Trying to remember, there was the AN-94(?) and some other design that both went nowhere.

If the US is just going to keep updating the old Armalite design I don't see why Russia can't do the same. Interesting that from the linked article it seems like they are planning to have it in dual calibers from the start.
