Default Romanian SKS (Norris SKS)

I sold the yugo sks and went to buy this one today. It's an all matching Romanian SKS.
It was covered in cosmoline and it took a while to clean up. I used the garage, but the house smells like gasoline now. I stripped it down and let the metal parts soak for an hour. Then I scrubbed until the goo was gone.
Since today is Chuck Norris's birthday I named it the Romanian Norris SKS.

BTW, I sold the yugo in record time for a lot more than I paid. I like it when it works out like that.

Next time, instead of gasoline, use a nylon brush, GOOP waterless handcleaner, and rinse with hot water. Then everything will smell like oranges.

The romanian is a nice gun, as close as u can come to the russian. I had a choice between the romy and the russian i bought, actually the russian was cheaper, but needed trigger work. I beleive they only produced about 560 thousand of them. They wanted $499 tax included for the romy. I still might buy it. If it's not to personal what did u give for yours? No matter what it's a nice gun and i wish you luck"

I wish I had asked about that earlier. That's what I get when I'm left to my own devices!!!

Thanks! It is SO much nicer! I got $250 out of the Yugo and the Romy Norris was $300.

I think I did good. Now I just need to stock up on ammo.

All in all it was $319. I was relieved when I got back to the shop and it was still there! I really don't think they are worth $500!! I have seen them on gunbroker and the like for $350-400
