I just got a Wasr10 on friday, ran 60 rounds through it then did a complete tare down and cleaned all the metal parts and looked at the wood and said that looks like sh*t. So i played around with it to figure out how to take all the wood off and started sanding. Too bad the grip is plastic but what can you do.



First started with a cherry finish, then went over that with a red mohogany and alternated between the two and let it sit for a minute.












Now im waiting for 20 minutes and im gonna go over again with the red mohogany another time and let it sit over night and do it again tomorrow around 10am and let it sit while im at work. And will post pictures in little bit after the mohogany sits for a minute. Let me know what you think.

Ok restained the wood a few minutes ago and this is what it looks like now. Im gonna let it sit overnight and do some more tomorrow.

Just finished it this morning. And i polished the bolt carrier a little bit. Im gonna do it better this weekend
