I can't stand Sons of Guns.

The episode when they build the "Katana" did it for me *rolls eyes*

Calling a .308 Saiga an "AK-47" is quite a stretch.

DAMN RIGHT!!! It is even a strech to call it an AK variant. It is a Russian Hunting rifle. (can they have those anymore?) The guy I know that shoots his custom pieces were from a 7.62 kit and 5.56 bolt/barrel combo. Uses std. AK-74 mags and kills prarie dogs out past 600yds.

Maybe he'll pop in, has before when these threads come about.

I really liked the show last season when each episode was 30 minutes and they did some realistic stuff. I really like when they show some of the machining involved.

This season with the expanded hour episode, they seem to be going for more of the Hollywood effect. I don't see much improvement for this weeks build as it looks like some sort of 4 gun built together unit.

THE OWNER says that'll stop going into this season. More of the good stuff, we'll see. . . I'm not interested in 4 guns in 1 crap. Build some quality stuff and show us how it's done.

Default First 1000 yd AK

After some thought and reading the reveiws, with all the neg. about guns and laws and regulations, maybe we should just be happy that we have a gun show. I feel not everyone is a so called expert on weapons, but if it takes a tri, or quad type of gun mount to get some newcomers to start getting interested in guns, then thats a good thing. I've had friends who would never talk to me before about guns, after watching the show they are showing more interest in guns. I think that is a good thing. This is just my personal opion....

What I really want is some of the ammunition they fire. Have you noticed how every time they shoot something with one shot it manages to blow up?

He said in an earlier episode that he was licensed to engineer the local pyrotechnic show, and that he's using the same license to rig the targets.
