exactly! i believe also most of it is staged. now if i were in a bind and needed money pretty bad, then you're between a rock and hard place anyways. you don't have a lot of negotiating room and sometimes have to settle for what's offered, usually way less than what it's worth. there are those who feed on peoples misery and look for their victims like this.

I would venture to guess that the majority of the "customers" are not what we would typically consider customers. Pawn Stars was outed for doing such a thing.

Exactly, I don't buy into this guy flyin his chopper out to some other rather rich lookin dude's house in the mountains and buying a bunch of old winchesters in mint condition for a fraction of what their are worth, I'm sure that guy didn't need the money. It's all crap. I saw a article talkin about Pawn Stars how alot of the items actually belong to the experts who come in to appraise them and they hire actors from a Vegas acting club or assoc. to be the guy whos trying to sell it. I wouldn't doubt it, it seems pretty unlikely that many cool things would come into a pawnshop all the time.

Lotta botox too. And I have seen more beleivable story lines on
WWF. I just can't see any other entertainment value from the show, which is why I fast forward through most of it when I do watch it. That is why when you get past all that crap, you only end up with 2-3 minutes of anything resembling something beleivable.
