I used a cheap Walmart redot on my Norinco with Tapco stock and it worked great. I changed it to fancy scope mount dust cover deal with a nice scope eventually and it turned out to be a mistake. Big pain in the ass I had to rezero the redot every couple of times out or make some adjustments but it worked really well overall. My next sks will be pure or a tapco with redot. Just my opinion.

I'd like to do that but, gone are the days of buying 2 because their cheap...

Also gone are the days of finding one without a tapco stock...

I just sold a pre-ban one in wood stock on Wednesday for around $400. They're around you just gotta search.
