Rear sight on an SKS

Ok I have had a hella time keeping the rear sight on a norinco SKS. Any suggestions guys on how to keep it in?

Say what? The rear portion of my SKS sight has never made a break for it.

Not at all my area of pseudo expertise, but a couple of thoughts.

1) A couple of pictures might help get you the answer you are looking for on this one.

If this is the case of some sort of screw loosening under recoil, or a not so tight fitting dovetail -

2) Loc-Tite Threadlocker. They make a couple of different "levels" of toughness. Green, Blue & Red. Green is mild, Blue is medium and Red is hardcore.

Hope that helps!

Pics and/or a little more detail would be helpful.

Whats exactly loose?

The sight itself?

Or is the range adjustment slide loose?

Ok figured it out after several hours of web searching. There is a spring that goes under the rear sight. Then came the trying to find one. No luck there either. I finally did find a pic of what one looks like and was able to make one out of a piece of flat spring steel. The rear sight will no longer fall off!!!
