I Bought a Nc Star red dot for my Saiga 7.62x39 with a side mount scope rail..problem is I can't adjust the red dot low enough to zero into target.. I'm new to sighting in red dots and scopes please help with some advice..Thanks
P.s I'm using a Laserlyte sighter

Can you post pics? What range are you trying to zero at?

I had the same problem. I couldnt adjust it at all. So i returned it right away to Amazon. But i loved its low profile slim design though.

I was sighting in at my backyard with my laser then was gonna do live fire at the range by my house once I got it on paper..but no luck maybe it's just a very ****ty red dot?

Idk. Don't have one but I've heard a lot of guys use them.

I purchased a dust cover with a picatinny mount on it from Midway.

Just took some minor Dremel adjustment to fit the Saiga. Much better set up for scope or red dot.

If your already set on your current mount choice no problem..but I would suggest, this newer product which you can see in my photos it's a rail mount beryl style rail which is similar to the krebs one but doesn't cost nearly 400$. But same concept and has a dove tail flip up peep sight and I love thus far and at some web sites it's a low as 50$ dollars..but don't pay more than 60$ for it. Any questions I'll gladly share

What mount are you using? If you continue to have problems you may want to barrow a friends RDS and see what happens.
