i was thinking of polishing my charging handle on my wasr-10 for the heck of it what would i need to do so or is it not a good idea .

The cheapest/easiest way would be to get a few different grades of grinding and buffing compound and just work it with a rag.

White rouge and a Dremel tool with polishing pads. I did my Glock G27 barrel this way.

I used some FLITZ metal polish and a rag on mine. Worked real good. Also polished a 1911 barrel and a 1911 Colt mag. Pop in a good DVD get your materials and get on it..............
