Not trying to be obvious here, but I saw a buddy the other day work for 20 minutes before he realized the bolt carrier and gas piston assy were still in the gun ?
Have you ever taken it apart before? I'm only asking because if you've never done it before it could be hard to figure out.
Behind the rear sight there is a lever that you will need to pull 3/4 the way up. Then use a small screwdriver to pry against the barrel and the tube. The tube should pop out.
Be careful you don't pull that lever up too much. Then you're in deep doo-doo.
I bleve that is what i did to my norinco the first time i cleaned it. It shot the little operating rod out of there with a good deal of force. It wasn't that easy to get it back in there, either.
