Default Omg help

I was going to clean my ak and when i took the mag out something fellout from were the mag goes here is a pic please help i dont know what it is

It is often called a shepherds hook. It is a piece if spring wire that fits in the grooves in the pins that hold the hammer and trigger in place. The wire keeps the pins from walking out if the receiver. You can find a few websites that show how it should be routed if you google AK Shepherds hook.

The fact that it was a pain probably means you got it in right...and it may have been installed improperly for it to just "fall out".

Yeah, that replacement plate is much nicer to use. A worthwhile upgrade to be sure.
