I'm not sure where this came from, but....ok then....
You did mention the Arsenal at Sooner, and I noted that.
Gonna go ahead and get other opinions as well...if that's ok with you?

If you had a spare $1500 lying around, and were in the market for an AK, which would you buy?

For an AK, Rifle Dynamics seems to be the got to for the guys who can go wherever they want.
I stick w/ the $400 variety. I would like an nicer AK but for some reason I always end up w/ the cheap ones
If you have the budget you might as well do it right.
I've looked into Krebs and Red Jacket but they seem a little gimmicky compared to Rifle Dynamics.

Chandler, you're good. He (rifleshooter) seems to have a problem w/ me for some reason.
I know next to nothing about AKs but it seems Saiga and Arsenal are a couple great choices. Keep us informed as you go as we all can learn from your findings.

I'll do it man, thanks.
I'm gonna try and get some trigger time on ine before I buy, but I'm def leaning toward the Arsenal/saiga. Gonna check out the websites, etc you guys laid out above. Prob be a couple months, then I should have pics/range report.
Thanks again, guys. Been a big help.

If you are going with Arsenal/saiga consider a saiga and convert it with 922r parts. Several how to videos. My son jstrong did it with my help, that being, my drill and bit, my file, my punch. Yea, I suggest that you pm him for more info. He did a nice job and saved a few hundred bucks. Good luck.
