Default Norinco SKS
So today I went looking for an AR15, Mini14, AK47 or an SKS. I found a Mini14 but it was $645. AR15 was $800, AK47 was $1,200. So I found a nice SKS for $440 I put it on layaway today put $240 on it I just owe $201 on it now. I am bringing it home this Thursday.

Your'e gonna enjoy it. Had mine out just today - hoot to shoot and easy to keep on target at 100yards. CHICOMs are outstanding SKSs.

Oh believe me I will my Dad is going to be taking me out to my Uncles and shoot here in a couple weeks since I have gotten 3 new guns it will be fun. Those trees won't stand a chance!

I cut the bayonet lug off both my SKS's. Most people experience better accuracy once the bayonet lug has been removed. I don't know if the improved accuracy can be attributed to barrel harmonics or less honeysuckle vines getting snagged on their rifle. Either improved harmonics or lower heart rate will improve accuracy.

If you are careful about cutting the bayonet lug off the SKS you can just dab an indelible marker on the bare spot. Only people that know the lug is supposed to be there will miss it.

No mine didn't come with a bayonet at all but it is better than not having an SKS at all.
