I believe it does buy honestly, I've not tried any yet.

I've always felt like AR's are for accessories and AK's are something you bury in the back yard and dig up when the need arises to kill a bunch of zombies, goblins, whatever...

When I first bought it I also picked up a UTG quad rail that did not fit. It was like 1/2" to short and the upper portions of the rail would not clear the gas tube. It's machined aluminum but I honestly think it was designed for soft air. So I guess that one did not fit.

OK, I will be serious for one post, Then I am going back to troll mode.

If you are looking for a good AK and wanting to get synthetic stock and keep in the price range you are talking about, might I suggest looking into a nice Saiga.

You can pick one of these up for about $399.95. There are after market parts available.

I will be here all week, please tip your bartenders.

Why replace the furniture, get the one you like with the furniture you want.

Saiga AK
Doesn't make sense to get one then change the furniture.
Look here is a synthetic stock with rails.

$500.
Hell, go with a sweet assed Chrome model

Obsess much. It's an AK, of course there are aftermarket parts.
