Congrats on the pickup! That's a beautiful rifle, the wood on it has a nice blonde shade to it. You can't go wrong with any AK-variant. Also make sure nothing is canted on your rifle (sight post, rear sight block, ect) that sometimes pops up on WASRs.

Nice. I've had two. Both were good shooters. Nothing crooked on either of mine.

Have fun with it, and let us know how it shoots.

Thanks guys. Nothing's canted so it was a nice find. I did check it out before it left the store. I immediately put the gouge AK pistol grip on it because I love the way it feels. I had to get another one because my Son as usurped the Norinco AK. It's okay though any reason to get another! I'm chomping at the bit to get out on the range with it. Probably next weekend but, I will definitely give a report.

good choice. ive shot a lot of different ak the wasr 10/63 if you find a good one are the best.

some of the upgrades to mine:

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/685437/krebs-custom-guns-hammer-and-trigger-pin-retainer-plate-ak-47?cm_vc=U112

times 2
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/444289/power-custom-extended-length-pin-ak-47-trigger-hammer-steel-matte

the retainer plate doesent bend out of shape allow the trigger and hammer pins to walk or get lost and is very easy to install and take apart ak internals for cleaning. the pins are more solid and not going to bend or break like the originals can.

if your going to get a sight tool spend the $$ on a magnamatic

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/513820/magna-matic-defense-front-sight-adjustment-tool-ak-47-sks-steel

im just listing midway cuz its easy. you can prolly find this stuff cheaper elsewhere

If you don't mind answering, then how much did it cost? No offense taken if you don't want to say though.
