I paid a bit over $300 for my used Norinco, in a synthetic stock set. It had been used a bit, but was in excellent working condition. Yours looks MUCH fresher. Congratulations!

I didn't see any English markings on there? I'm wondering who the importer was.

It's not worth anything at all. Let me do you a favour and take it off your hands for $125.00.

That rifle is beautiful. It has my favorite bayonet on it, too. Congratulations on the new addition to your collection.

It looks like SHAANXI- CHINA had at least one importer.
Both of these threads are probably worth reading.

The ATF might disagree with the finding. In fact they have idicated the few of the Chinese SKS can be properly dated, hence no C&R status.

BUT IF YOU did find reputable dating for arsenals other than 26, please share the link to your findings.

Can't remember the website, I just googled dating an SKS, it could have been wrong.

Understood. I hit quite a few sites myself in my own research.
The general hope was that since trade relations have improved with China, there might be a better chance of getting this information on the other arsenals.

Let's Hope!
