Me, my dad, my step-grandfather, and my uncle all went to the NRA Meeting in Indianapolis this past weekend, and it was great for several reasons. Mainly because because my dad, my uncle, and my step-grandfather all won on the Wall of Guns. They all won on our first ticket as well. Me and my dad spent an hour trying to decide what to pick. It came down to a Ruger GP100 in .357 and a Century Centurion sporter model C39. After lots of reading mixed reviews and watching lots of YouTube videos, I've come to the conclusion that it's a pretty good rifle, and a pretty good choice IMO. Unfortunately milled receiver AK wood furniture is expensive and hard to come by, the "classic" model had a beautiful Timbersmith set.
I apologize for the crude pictures.
Here's the one we chose, what are y'all's opinion?
All feedback and advice is appreciated! I know the basics of the AK, field stripping, maintenance, care, ect. What else should I know? Thanks!
