Get a converted Saiga by Rifle Dynamics and a couple cases of Wolf FMJ (any grain).
|
wolf fmj is that a better brand ammo than the others ?
|
a converted saiga is that turning it from a rifle to a shotgun?

Try J&G sales.
After your first large purchase, they will send you a nice monthly flyer. Them have drum mags, and some of the best, if not the best bulk ammo sales on the net, after you factor in shipping. As to stocks, I prefer the standard non-folding shoulder in synthetic, but that's just a personal choice. |
Wolf ammo sucks in hand guns this I know so I would not expect much more out of the rifle ammo

(especially the chamber) before you go to shoot. The cosmoline they use as a preservative can cause major grief, otherwise. AKs are famous for eating any kind of shootable ammo, and I never found a brand my AK or SKS couldn't easily cycle. Many of us, myself included, however, have had major problems cycling ammo, due to a chamber which should have been properly cleaned before the initial range trip... |
OP, I have a converted saiga and it will eat Wolf all day long. I have yet to have a problem with Wolf in my rifle. I use it in my AR as well. Tula works great too. That being said, you should do what therewolf says before shooting it the first time. I believe your question about converted saiga's was answered in another thread right?

It's not that it just keep braking the gun 3 times switched ammo no problems n like I said it was the hand gun ammo for my 40 there rifle ammo might be better
|
I've never used Wolf handgun ammo so I can't comment in it. the rifle ammo works just fine though :)
