Here is the best I could do with what I have. Any ideas where I can find a front sight adjustment? Any place online with instructions on how to break it down and clean piston and all?

Very easy to take apart, I learned on it. Never had to read a manual for it
Edit: Eh-ERH! A friend loaned me this one, don't own one myself

Looking at it, it looks more like a Russian model. If its got a star with an arrow etched in the top of the dust cover, that's what you've got yourself.

As for the adjustment tool, it should t be much more then maybe $12.00 at a gun shop. If they don't carry them, then they aren't much of a gun shop.

Says made in china by Norinco cst Ont CA. Did Canada import it or something?

Its also got Chinese writing on the sling. Also has a triangle with some inscription in it etched on the side near the serial number. I just figured out how to take it apart. Didn't take long. I think Im going to like this thing.

Reading this and seeing the pictures of yours got me in the mood to take one apart and check out the parts. Now I remember what a bitch it is to get the trigger group back on...

http://www.sksboards.com/smf/index.php#c2

They have some good info.

When you remove the gas tube on top there, don't be looking at it; keep a hand over the end nearest the receiver to keep that piston thing in the base from springing across the room.
