I agree with the take on the off hand shooting.
CaptJim, 3" groups at 100 yds with scope and rest is very good for an AK, imo. Keep in mind that I don't know anyting about that, and I am a teenaged, frecklefaced, redheaded girl.
Iron sights, peep sight, red-dot...they all cover a bull on a std 8" target. That is why you sight it in with the front sight (or lowest setting red dot) JUST below the bull.
