its it even worth scoping a sks? What's max distance? Maybe just red dot
I've had my SKS out to 600 yards with iron sights. I was shooting for accuracy, was just trying to see if I could hit a plastic feed bucket at that distance.

I've shot at 100 for accuracy though, it wasn't to bad. I can't find the picture I took of the target, but the group was about the size of a base ball. I'm sure if I had something better then the bayonet stuck in the ground as a make shift bi-pod I could if done a little better.

Lol the tactical bayonet bipod... That's not bad for accuracy... All these posts almost have me up in the air about buying one now

The price is a bit high, but most of us bought ours years ago, mine a Yugo for $239.00 + Tax. The stock was ruff but it cleaned up nicely and all serial numbers match. I wanted to keep mine C&R so no changes were made except for the receiver cover with a rail on it for mounting a scope. Put a 4 power compact scope on it so I could still use the stripper clips with it.

In todays market your price is not bad. I would just swap the dust cover with rail and mount what you want on it, just make sure you find a cover that fits tightly.

Jim

I would buy one. I was skeptical for a while on wether or not I'd seriously enjoy one. I'm so glad I did. ammunition is cheapish, the gun doesn't have a lot of recoil and well.....I love the iron sights. I'm waiting for the field I shoot in to dry up so I can set a price of steel out and take shot at it from the maximum distance the irons will let me, which is about 1000 yards. It high hopes and all on my end, but hitting that bucket at 600 makes me think I've got a slight chance. Haha

If the serial #s all match, and it's a clean rifle, with a good

bore, I say get it.

Tell anybody who "can get them for 200$" "here's 400$ get

me two" and watch how fast they do the Peter Pan fade.

If you'd like to give me $400.00 I can get you three......but you've also got to pay for all the paper work and the shipping.

I'm not sure about all that, but the same place I picked mine up has a few crates of them in the back room. I'd be more then happy to check them out and make sure their in as good condition as mine when I bought it.

I'm not to sure if the OP lives in Canada, but at the price he stated he found as the cheapest, I'm going to doubt it. I was also just being a buttface, as of now I lack the ability to add greet font since I'm on the mobile app. It's why I added the "haha" at the end......least I think I did anyways.

Well, isn't this fortunate, OP, kaido here is going to hook you

up. It's a great thing when the internet brings people together.
