looking to buy a California legal AK-47 please help
 

Please help, I want to buy a good AK-47 that is California legal under $700. I hear a lot of bad stories surrounding the WASR-10, PAP-70 or for the most part any century arms import. What would you recommend in California that is not on assault weapons ban of 2000 or assault weapons Rossie bill that I could still get in California. I want to be able to use my magazines from all over the world of course 10 round magazines with this AK-47, as I am not a big fan of the plastic mags. Is there any good distributors that will ship to California from the East Coast, Midwest , South or Southwest that carry quality weapons with a guarantee to back up the firearm? I am aware of Atlantic firearms is there any other great websites similar to Atlantic firearms?

There's Bud's Gun Shop online and Impact Guns, as well as Midwest Guns online.
I am leaning myself toward the WASR - 10/63.

Sovereign Guns as well in North Carolina. I purchased my M10 7.62 from them but I don't live in Cali. $695 More after xfer fees etc. Of course M10's sell for $600 in some places but unless those other places got new shipments in when I bought mine noone had them in stock cept this place. Their website is meh at best... call them though if you want better information than their site shows. Good people.

All of that bad chatter about the wasr is based on the early models, all trigger slap is gone due to tapco g2 triggers, canted sights are rare now but very easy to fix and the machining of the mag well is much better because all mag wabble is slim to none. Love my wasr because it was only 400

The middle finger works like an ironsight. If you use the Caveman Eotech technique it works great for close range encounters.

I don't get how they would do a bullet button on an ak.

They have 'em.

Is the magazine catch in the same place as it is on a regular ak.
