Default Legality of pre-ban ak-47 in NJ

It's a full stock Mitchell arms Yugo ak-47, has all the things, threaded barrel, boayonet lug, 30 round mag, I know the mag is 30 my nj limit is 15 but they sell 10 round mags and I can convert 30's into 15's with a dremel. This is a real pre ban ak and I need to know if because it's preban is it legal or does nj's version of the 94 AWB ban them.

I would call your local police or read on New Yorks website, although I'm currently in New York on a vacation and I was skeptical of bringing my AR, and based on some others advice, I left her in the gun safe.
